Job Description

FINCA Armenia is looking for an AML Compliance Specialist to perform daily AML compliance operations, which include but are not limited to AML reporting, training provision, monitoring, compliance check.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify transactions subject to monitoring and control
  • Request information from organization’s responsible units about operations under monitoring
  • Create special reports for further submission to the appropriate authority
  • Analyze and monitor information received from various structural units of the organization
  • Supply support and oversight for organization’s personnel regarding application of the AML/CFT Policy, KYC Procedures, investigation and reporting of Suspicious Activity
  • Provide trainings to relevant employees
  • Assist in post-training AML test preparation, training materials preparations and training design if required
  • Provide direction and guidance to employees on AML/CFT issues
  • Perform regulatory compliance check and internal regulations compliance check regularly
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance or Banking
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience of performing relevant duties, working experience in commercial bank is preferable
  • Proven experience working with complex data
  • Proficient in Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist law requirements, as well as in Laws and CBA legal acts, regulating Credit Organizations activities
  • Knowledge of banking products, operations and procedures is preferable
  • Fluent in Armenian and in English
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel), Outlook; good typing and data-entry skills.
  • Accurate reporting and document processing; staff awareness on AML compliance activities, effectiveness of AML compliance activities, compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Availability to travel upon request
