Job description:

The Hard Collection Specialist is responsible for coordinating work activities connected with problem loans of his/her region and other branches, as well as loan collections. The specialist makes phone calls and visits to the house and/or workplace of borrowers, guarantors and related parties, provides with necessary information according to relevant procedure to reveal the reasons for delinquency and current financial abilities of customers.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinates the collection process of problem loans of his/her region and other branches
  • Tries to understand the reasons of delinquency via phone calls or visits
  • Controls the transfer process of overdue loans to Hard Collection Department in compliance with internal legal acts
  • Prepares and provides cases of problem loan clients to the Legal Department, in cases established by internal legal acts
  • Ensures communication with problem clients, their guarantors and related parties on debt payments
  • Provides and receives information on the financial condition of customers with problem loans to interested parties
  • Prepares relevant reports upon manager’s request and according to appropriate procedures
  • Participates in debt management committees according to existing procedures
  • Implements other assignments given by the supervisors/managers connected with his/her main responsibilities, and in compliance with the law and internal legal acts

 Competencies

  • University degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in the relevant field (loan officer experience is desirable)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), knowledge of AS-Bank 4 is preferred
  • Fluent in Armenian (written and oral), knowledge of Russian and English is desirable
  • Team work

  • Reliability and ability to perform assigned tasks independently and on time
  • Availability to go on frequent and long-term business trips in the territory of the RA
