Job Description

FINCA Armenia is looking for a Leading/Senior Internal Control Specialist for controlling activities in various departments and branches of the organization, who will be responsible for creating respective reports on findings and non-compliances, revealing operational and other risks, as well as presenting recommendations and action plans for mitigating the risks.

Job Responsibilities

• Check the compliance of business processes or individual functions with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, the company’s policies, procedures, and the requirements of other internal legal acts,
• Check the integrity and reliability of the information entered into the information systems,
• To collect the necessary information, conduct interviews with employees of audited or affiliated departments, customers and other persons involved.
• Analyze the information collected during the control, compare it with other data, identify the typical risks (including operational, fraud), assess their consequences and make suggestions for mitigation or neutralization of risks.
• Participate in sampling for testing based on internal reporting, red flag reports, and other controlling tools.
• Carry out follow-up and monitoring.
• Compile and submit reports on inspections and study results.

Required Qualifications

• University degree,
• At least 2 years of relevant professional work experience in financial/banking system,
• Excellent command of Armenian, good knowledge of English and Russian,
• High motivation and initiative, ability to work independently,
• Ability to optimize the working processes and offer creative solutions,
• Ability to manage own time and prioritize tasks,
• Problem solving skills,
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
• Proficiency in office software (MS Office).
