GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

FINCA Armenia is looking for The Specialist of the Reporting, Budgeting and Financial Analysis Department. The specialist prepares the information on the operational and financial results of the Organization, presents to the external and internal recipients, participates in the analysis, planning and annual budgeting processes of the financial and operational ratios. Periodically analyzes the actual performance and dynamics of the organization’s financial and operational indicators, compares to planned and forecasted ratios. Supports the organization’s annual business plan.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report preparation and submission to the Central Bank of the RA (CBA);ensure compliance of the reports submitted to the CBA with the legislative-regulatory requirements
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS requirements
  • Preparation of daily, monthly and quarterly internal reports for the internal use of the management staff of the organization
  • Preparation of reports for other foreign international partner organizations
  • Ensure the process of preparing the annual budget
  • Organize and coordinate financial indicators forecasting and planning processes
  • Preparation of reports to identify discrepancies between actual and planned expenditures
  • Preparation of reports on the company’s income and expenses structure by branches and by the type of loans
  • Implementation of other assignments related to key responsibilities

COMPETENCIES

  • Higher education in economics, finance, accounting or mathematics
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional work experience
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and standards, accounting processes as well as International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Knowledge of Armenian, Russian and English languages
  • Knowledge of MS Office ((Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work with databases
  • Problem solving ability
  • Analytical skills and punctuality
  • Ability to work in short deadlines and in tense situations
  • Overcoming challenges, perseverance and willingness to overcome difficulties, sufficient level of self-esteem, taking justified risks to achieve goals
