On July 13, 2013 FINCA celebrated the opening of its new branch in the city of Ararat. The branch is the 27th in the country.
The opening of “Ararat” Branch is not the first one for FINCA this year. “Komitas” Branch, the 4th one in Yerevan, opened in March, and in June we welcomed “Vanadzor-1”, which was the second branch in one of the largest cities of Armenia.
A number of honorary guests from partner organizations, local governing bodies and financial institutions joined in the celebrations of the opening ceremony.
During his opening speech FINCA CEO Mr. Barseghyan talked about the organization’s future plans and stated that FINCA is actively expanding its network in Armenia to offer model customer service and get “One step closer” to its customers.
The Advisor to the City Mayor Adibek Khurshudyan offered a warm welcome to the FINCA community in Ararat, commanded the organization for its good work and offered readiness to cooperate with it. After he completed his speech, FINCA presented the city a silver artwork based on the famous painting of Gustav Klimt, “Tree of Life”, symbolizing wisdom, protection, power and beauty.
FINCA has been operating in Ararat Region since 2008 and has continued increasing its reach in the region establishing branches in Artashat, Masis and Vedi. Today, FINCA has 6552 customers in Ararat Region, and the loan portfolio has reached 2 billion 255 million AMD.
“FINCA” UCO started its operations in the Republic of Armenia in 1999. Today, FINCA has 51,757 clients with a loan portfolio of 20 billion 400 million AMD.
